Ring Road Iceland is a small, independent planning guide for one thing: driving Iceland's Route 1 well. No parent hotel chain, no rental fleet of our own — just a clear read on the car, the beds and the tours that make the loop work.
We organize everything the way you actually travel Iceland — by leg of the Ring Road, not by generic category. For each decision we point to a few trustworthy providers and tell you the trade-offs (local company vs broker, 2WD vs 4x4, which tours to book ahead). You compare and book directly with the provider.
